BDS Software uses a diverse collection of tools when developing websites. All the websites I currently maintain run on a Microsoft Windows IIS 6.0 Web Server.

But the BDS Software site and the M. David Johnson for Glenview Public Library Trustee site (as well as several other websites) originally ran on Linux Apache servers. On Linux I use a combination of HTML, CGI, Perl, C, MySQL, Java, and JavaScript; all handwritten in a plain text editor similar to NotePad.

With IIS, I use Net Fusion 8, Web Matrix, Visual Basic.NET, Visual C#.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, SQL Server 2000, VB Script, JavaScript, and the ubiquitous text editor.
